Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is a caring organization like no
other. One way Thrivent Financial shows its concern for members
and their families is by offering benefits designed
to enhance their quality of life.
Express Access Prescription
Drug Discount Program
Members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans can take advantage
of a program that may help reduce their out-of-pocket expenses for
prescription drugs.
Note: This program is NOT Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D.) Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. Government or the federal Medicare program. For information on Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage, please contact your Thrivent Financial representative.
Key features of the Express Access program
- No enrollment fee or annual fee.
- Discount that applies to all prescription drugs.
- Flexibility to get prescriptions from a local, participating
pharmacy or by mail.
- Our members save an average of 22%, based
on Thrivent Financial monthly usage reports. And members using
the card are assured of at least $1 worth of retail savings
on each prescription.*
Who can benefit from the program?
Those who:
- Participate in a health insurance plan that does not
pay for prescription drugs.
- Do not participate in another prescription drug discount program.
- Pay a fee to participate in a prescription drug discount
program.
- Use a card that covers only specific drugs from certain manufacturers
- Have a card that has an annual coverage limit.
The Express Access Prescription Drug Discount Program is available
through Express Scripts Inc., one of the nation's largest independent
pharmacy benefit management companies. On average, participants
may save 15 percent on brand-name prescription drugs and 35 percent
on generic drugs when purchased at a retail store. (Savings are even greater when using the program's
mail-order pharmacy.)
The Express Access program is NOT designed to benefit individuals
who have health insurance with prescription drug coverage.
Important: Any discounts related to this card are not insurance. Also, the Express Access discount cannot be used in conjunction with health insurance that includes prescription drug coverage or with other prescription drug discount programs.
Remember: The Express Access card does not charge a fee and provides a discount on all prescription drugs. Compare cost estimates for the medications you take. To get an estimated cost of your medicines with Express Access, call 1-877-274-8010 and press 0 immediately. (To avoid confusion and to facilitate answering your question, give the customer service representative the following Open Enrollment Identification Number: 111-211-001.
